You do not need more noise.
You need a way forward.

Sorrell Strategy is hired when a candidate needs to launch or reset a campaign, a political organization needs a fundraising or stakeholder plan, or an executive needs experienced operating leadership without a full-time senior hire.

Engagements range from focused strategic counsel to hands-on leadership of the plan, people, systems, and projects required to move the work.

What you can hire us to do.

Every engagement is tailored, but the work is concrete: clarify the plan, organize the operation, lead execution, and create measurable follow-through.

“Advice only matters when it changes what happens next.”

Sorrell Strategy helps candidates, executives, and organizations navigate high-stakes moments with clear strategy, sound judgment, and the operating discipline to turn decisions into progress.

Shannan Sorrell has spent her career in rooms where the clock is running, the stakes are public, and “we’ll circle back” is not a strategy.

Her experience spans the U.S. House of Representatives, the Texas Legislature, San Diego County government, federal fundraising, campaign management, marketing, and executive operations. Along the way, she has led teams, managed crises, built coalitions, and turned complicated priorities into action.

She brings an operator’s discipline, a campaigner’s sense of timing, and a healthy skepticism of meetings that end without an owner or a next step.

Today, Shannan is the founder of The Candidate’s Toolbox and Vice President at Political Marketing International. Through Sorrell Strategy, she accepts select independent engagements with candidates, consultants, executives, and organizations that need experienced judgment and practical momentum—not another binder destined for a shelf.
